Speech III - Relationship Management - The Full Spectrum
Our third topic in the series is clearly about relationships, how to manage them and the importance of nurturing them. We will have encouraging discussions about understanding dysfunction in a relationship and how to have a healthy one. This topic touches on all aspects of relationships, from friends and family to strangers we meet in a bank line up. The people in our lives are sometimes there from start to finish and others come and go. Talking about the energy surrounding us in our everyday lives, many of us don’t take into account how that energy is affecting us, most especially the energy given off by other people. Have you ever had a gut instinct about another person? A feeling of like or dislike that you just couldn’t explain? That was their vibrational energy you were sensing, and if other people, situations and places cause a reaction inside of you, know that your own energetic vibration causes reactions in other people too. Similar energies attract one another. Positive people hang out together and the complainers, drama queens and haters attract people with the same energy patterns. Understanding a need to sometimes set boundaries in relationships will be part of this presentation, as well as reading people and their intentions so that you can navigate positive and negative people and situations accurately. Determining when to hang on and when to let go of toxic relationships in our lives is of great value. We will focus on recognizing when loved ones are acting in our best interest, the importance of being loyal to those we love, acting respectful and communication skills in general. Virtues of Humanity and Temperance will be the focus; Love, Kindness, Forgiveness, Self-Regulation and Social Intelligence.
